The Crimson Scourge is a giant panther-like monster that lurks within the Darklands. Many ages ago the Crimson Scourge roared across Eternia and destroyed everything in its path, but it was eventually imprisoned. The monster is made entirely of flame and naturally has the ability to breathe fire. The Crimson Scourge is also referred to as the Red Scourge. He-man manages to locate an underwater lake and uses it to defeat the Crimson Scourge.
